These few weeks are starting to fly by. I'm now 33 weeks pregnant and time is ticking!!! I have so many lists going of things to achieve before the baby is born and I feel like every day needs to be productive for me to get ready for this little guys arrival.
I have been listening to various podcasts, TED Talks and YouTube channels while I've been productive and have been revisiting old favourites that keep me happy and relaxed.
Amongst those are WhatsUpMoms on YouTube, who are three mom friends who film various segments on cooking and crafts and do the occasional paradody. These are by no means hot off the presses but they are certainly entertaining and couldn't be more relevant to my current day to day life. I remember seeing this first one back when we started thinking about trying for baby number 2, and I can't believe I'm actually in the final few weeks before becoming a Mother again.
IM SO PREGNANT
Yep, I sure am! It's only been in the past week or so that I've actually started feeling really pregnant. This pregnancy has been vastly different from my first and considerately, this little guy has let me bump along without feeling too much like a heffalump! I was a little concerned that he was measuring small, but he's right on target for size and weight, but this week I have seen a real gain in belly size and now I know I'm pregnant!! It's harder to move around and I just look like I'm stealing Halloween pumpkins under my dress.
Whether it is the 10 pillows it takes to get a little bit of slumber, or the constant stream of couriers indulging my online shopping, I can't help but giggle every time I see this clip!
SHAKE IT OFF - PINTEREST PARODY
I've always been somewhat inclined towards glitter and crafting, but at this point in my pregnancy, the nesting instinct has taken all of this to a new level. Whenever I have a good day, without a migraine, you'll find me working through my project lists, rotary cutter in hand!
With a baby due early in December, not only do I have a project list to get ready for the Baby Boy, but there's also Christmas crafts to prepare as well as all of our Christmas present shopping/making too. I LOVE Christmas crafts and cooking, and so having already started some little projects with Maddie has made the festive season get kick-started nice and early in our house.
I have had a good laugh at myself watching this parody, there's many many home truths in this one!!! Maddie and Pete definitely look at me like i'm cray cray cray crazy!! But, I love the nesting phase, so I'm just embracing it all.
