We are almost all packed up into boxes bound for the Middle East. It's been such an incredible final month in London that I'm getting pretty sad to say goodbye now. Its hard not to be sentimental about this chapter of our lives being over, but at the same time, it's exciting to be starting a whole new chapter too.
But before we get to Abu Dhabi, we have a pretty spectacular November planned. We are doing a bit of a bucket list of travel, covering some serious ground and testing the adaptability of our travel-savvy toddler.
I am writing this post on board the fast train to Oxford, because even though we are up to our eyeballs in packing, we couldn't leave London without squeezing one last sneaky trip in. Plus to be honest, getting out of the house was a pretty appealing option in this glorious sunshine!!
To kick off our "November to Remember" we are flying to Milan and driving to Lake Como for a week of lakeside nothingness. Given the insanely hectic month we've had, nothing is more appealing than a little bit of nothing!!!
After recharging the batteries a little we are then doing a bit of a driving trip through Austria. You want to bet the hills are going to be alive, and I'm giddy to retrace the steps of Maria Von Trapp.
From here we head back to the UK and settle into the Wye Valley in Wales for a week, to cuddle the heck out Saraids' baby girl, Harriet.
After getting my baby girl fix, it'll be time for a baby boy fix, so we are off to the USA to see Julie and snuggle Whitmore. We are staying in Charlottesville for a week and having our first American Thanksgiving.
And THEN, we head to the Middle East!! I'm pretty sure we will be keen to pack away the suitcases by then and get started on settling in.
So just another few days to tie things up here before some fun adventures begin. Bring it on!!
